asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if his Department will consider the erection of a letter box at Rossaquile Cross, Newport, County Tipperary, to facilitate the people in the townlands of Rossaquile, Fiddane and Gurthnaskeha, who have to travel a distance of three miles to the nearest post office.

The amount of correspondence likely to be posted in a letter box at Rossaquile Cross would not justify the cost of its erection and maintenance.
