asked the Taoiseach if he will state the quantity and cost price of butter imported in each of the quarters of 1952.

The quantity of butter imported in the first quarter was 106,483 cwt. and the quantity of butter imported in the second quarter was 3,515 cwt. at an average c.i.f. price of £18 16s. per cwt. in each quarter. There were no imports of butter in the third or fourth quarters.
