asked the Minister for Defence if he will consider the question of issuing a miniature medal to those who served in the recent emergency in voluntary organisations, the medals to be similar to the 1916-21 military service medals and to be made available for purchase by those entitled to wear them.

It has been decided that a miniature medal will be made available for sale to holders of the emergency service medal.

The question of the design, production and sale of the medals is being considered at present.
