asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if, in view of the importance of Oughterard as a tourist centre, he will have a public telephone kiosk erected in the town; and, further, if he will examine the question of providing an all-night service there.

The use likely to be made of a telephone kiosk at Oughterard would not be sufficient to justify the provision of one there.

As regards the second part of the question, continuous service will beprovided at Oughterard when the number of subscribers connected to the exchange—at present 18—reaches 20.
