asked the Minister for Lands if he will indicate the number of landholders in the County of Galway who surrendered their holdings in exchange for other lands during the year ended 31st March, 1953.

In 1952-53, 159 small-holders in County Galway surrendered their lands in exchange for other lands in connection with migrations or rearrangements. Of these, 48 were migrated to other districts.
