asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he has received any complaints as to the delay in the issue of vouchers under the cheap footwear scheme in Dublin City; and, if so, whether any steps have been taken to end the delay, which is imposing hardships on persons awaiting vouchers.

I have not received any complaints regarding delays in the issue of vouchers under the public assistance footwear scheme in Dublin and I am not aware that any hardship has been occasioned.
