Patrick Smith Minister for Local Government (Mr. Smith) Fianna Fáil

The town of Gort is not, as the Deputy assumes in his question, an urban area. The number of houses erected by the Galway County Council in the town of Gort since 1932 was 37. Particulars relating to houses erected by private persons in Gort are not recorded separately and their compilation from the registers of 20 years would not be warranted.
