asked the Minister for Lands if he will state why the forestry workers in North Tipperary have not received the wage increase awarded to them on 1st April and if he will take steps to have the matter expedited.

Instructions for payment of an increase of 5/- per week to the workmen in the forests of Tipperary North Riding have already been issued. The increase is retrospective to 1st April, 1953.
