asked the Minister for Lands if he will state whether the Land Commission have yet acquired theestate of James Horseman lands at Ballycrossan and Cappaheela, near Portumna, County Galway; and, if so, when it is proposed to allot them for the relief of congestion in that area.

There are no proceedings for the acquisition of these lands but inquiries are being made in the matter.
