asked the Minister for Education if he is aware of the need for the erection of a new technical school at Edenderry, County Offaly, and whether, in view of the general demand for such a school there, he will convey his approval for its erection without delay.

The need for a vocational school at Edenderry has been accepted by me in principle and the County Offaly Vocational Education Committee has been asked to carry out a local educational survey to determine the extent of the accommodation required.
