asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware that there is no provision for the payment of an instalment of the grant in the statutory regulations under Section 8 of the Housing (Amendment) Act, 1950; and if he will, therefore, take the necessary steps to give applicants under this section the same facilities as are given for other housing grants.

This matter will be considered when the regulations are next being amended.
