asked the Minister for Education if he is in a position to state when the proposed new vocational school in the Gaeltacht area of Inver, Belmullet, will be erected.

A proposal by the County Mayo Vocational Education Committee to provide a Nissen hut for class purposes at Inver, Belmullet was approved in July, 1950. This proposal was later abandoned in favour of a permanent building but no definite proposal for the erection of a permanent building at this centre has yet been received.

I am, therefore, unable to say when such a building, if approved, will be erected.
