asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he is prepared to arrange for the inspection of Fenit Harbour, County Kerry, by an officer from his Department to ascertain if it requires dredging to make it safe for shipping purposes and whether, if he is satisfied, on inspection, that the harbour requires dredging, he will provide a grant from State funds for the carrying out of the work.

I have under consideration the question of having an inspection of Fenit Harbour carried out with a view to ascertaining whether dredging is necessary; and, if so, the probable cost of the dredging.
