asked the Minister for Local Government whether, in view of the unsatisfactory housing conditions in the Courtmacsherry and Barryroe districts, County Cork, he will request the West Cork Board of Health to proceed with their proposed housing programme in these districts without further delay.

Plans have been approved for a scheme of 15 serviced houses which will be erected by the Cork County Council to meet the housing needs of the Courtmacsherry and Barryroe districts. I understand that tenders will be invited for the erection of the houses in the near future.
