asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state what grant will be made available for the construction of a new bridge over the Flesk River, Killarney.

I am aware that the planning of a new bridge over the Flesk River near Killarney is being undertaken by the Kerry County Council. It would be premature at this stage to consider the question of the amount of the grant, if any, for the work.
