asked the Minister for Lands whether a number of land holders on the southern shore of Galway Bay applied to the Land Commission for exchange holdings because of coast erosion, and, if so, what is the present position in the matter.

The Deputy's question is rather vague since it relates to a very large section of the coastline. If the Deputy indicates to me the particular area or areas he is interested in I shall be only too glad to supply the information.
