asked the Minister for Local Government whether he has completed his examination of the proposals of the Cork County Council for the reconstruction of Ballyhooley bridge and, if so, with what result.

No plans or other detailed documents in relation to this bridge have yet been submitted, but a request has been received from the county council for a grant for the proposed reconstruction work. A decision as to what grant moneys, if any, might be applied to the work will be made clear in the near future in correspondence with the county council.
