asked the Taoiseach if he will state the value and quantity o tinned vegetables imported during each of the last four years.

I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to circulate in the Official Report a statement giving the available information. The import list classification for 1951 differs from that for 1952-54.

Following is the statement:—

A. Imports of Vegetables Tinned, etc., in the year 1951.

B. Imports of Tinned and Dehydrated Vegetables in each year 1952-1954.
