asked the Minister for Local Government whether he has received proposals for the erection of 12 houses at Kinvara, County Galway, and, if so, if he will state (a) if he has sanctioned such proposals, and (b) when building operations will commence.

There are no proposals before my Department at present for the erection of houses at Kinvara, County Galway. I understand that the Galway County Council are preparing a compulsory purchase order in respect of sites in the village to accommodate 12 houses.
