asked the Minister for Lands if he will state the number of holdings purchased by the Irish Land Commission under Section 27 of the Land Act, 1950, during the year 1954-55, together with their total acreage and valuation, and the amount of the total purchase price.

In the year 1954-55, the Land Commission purchased, under this section, eight holdings comprising 462 acres, rateable valuation £120, the total purchase money being £5,280.
