Lynch asked the Minister for Local Government if he is now in a position to state when he will introduce legislation to amend the Local Government (Superannuation) Act, 1948, and if he will have particular regard in such amending legislation to the special hardship being suffered by employees of the Cork Corporation.

Legislation to amend the law relating to the superannuation of local authority officers and servants is being introduced to-day. The special position of certain employees of Cork Corporation is not being overlooked.
