asked the Minister for Defence if he will introduce legislation to amend the Military Service Pensions Acts to enable further consideration to be given to the claims of those Old I.R.A. men whose applications were turned down under the existing law.

For a considerable time I have been engaged in an examination of this whole question of military service pensions, medals, etc., and I hope to submit proposals to the Dáil at an early date.
