asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state the cause of the delay in paying grants in respect of a new house in the Newport district, County Tipperary.

The application for the balance of the grant in this case has been referred to one of the Department's inspectors. I shall have the Deputy informed when it is found possible to make the payment and also let her know the cause of delay, if undue delay is found to have occurred.
