asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will state, in detail, the present position in regard to the development of the Dublin satellite automatic exchanges.

As the reply is in the form of a tabular statement, I propose with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to circulate it with the Official Report.

Following is the statement:—

DEVELOPMENT OF DUBLIN SATELLITE AUTOMATIC EXCHANGES AT 30TH NOVEMBER, 1955.

*In replacement of temporary exchanges.

AUTOMATIC CONVERSION DEVELOPMENT WITHIN 20-MILE RADIUS OF DUBLIN AT 30TH NOVEMBER, 1955.
