asked the Minister for Lands if he will state the cause of the delay in preparing a scheme for the allocation of the lands of Ballyeighter, Doocreggane and Cloghagalla, near Aughrim, County Galway, which comprise 354 acres approximately; and when a scheme is likely to be prepared and put into operation.

Due to pressure of more urgent work it has not yet been possible to prepare a scheme for the division of these lands. It is hoped, however, to have the work undertaken at an early date.

Can the Minister state it will be undertaken this year?

No.
