asked the Minister for Local Government if he will arrange for an investigation of the question of instituting a system of parking meters with charges for the parking of motor vehicles in certain parts of Dublin City.

The proposal would involve legislation and will be examined on its merits in conjunction with other proposals for road traffic legislation which are now under consideration.
