asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether the E.S.B. will provide current for the Dingle Gaeltacht on the basis of 50 per cent. instead of the usual 75 per cent., of the householders in the area applying for service.

The selection of areas for development under the rural electrification scheme and the determination of their order of priority for development are matters solely for the E.S.B. and in respect of which I have no function.
