asked the Minister for External Affairs if he will ascertain whether it is the intention of the British authorities to demolish Pentonville prison in the near future.

My information is still as stated in my reply to a question from Deputy Doyle on the 31st May, 1955, namely, that the authorities concerned have no intention of closing or demolishing Pentonville prison.
