Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Clare Estates.
asked the Minister for Lands if he will give a list of the estates in County Clare in the hands of the Irish Land Commission under the following heads: (a) name of former owner, (b) location, (c) date of acquisition, (d) whether earmarked for migrants or for division among local uneconomic holders, and (e) when subdivision is likely to be completed.
Comment on this
The reply to (a), (b) and (c) in the question takes the form of a tabular statement which, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, will be circulated in the Official Report.
As regards (d) and (e) I am as yet unable to indicate to whom and when the lands will be allotted, but the claims of all local smallholders will be fully considered.
Following is the statement:—
ESTATES ON LAND COMMISSION HANDS IN COUNTY CLARE.
In addition to these estates there is a number of remnants of bog and inferior lands on hands.
