asked the Taoiseach if he-will state the quantity, varieties and value of timbers imported froio the U.S.S.R. during 1955, and to the latest available date in 1956.

I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to circulate in the Official Report a statement giving particulars of imports in the periods in question of timber which originated in the U.S.B.R. Statistics of imports are classified by country of origin and not by country of consignment or purchase.
