asked the Minister for Lands whether the Land Commission are aware that the lands of Miss C. Rushe at Derreen, Moyne and Tawnaghbaun, near Abbeyknockmoy, County Galway, are being offered for sale by public auction, and, if so, if they will consider the propriety of acquiring these lands for division among uneconomic tenants in the locality.

My information is that this holding was sold by public auction to a local man less than a week ago. In the circumstances the Land Commission do not propose to take any action regarding the acquisition of the lands.
