asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs whether the reconstructed general post office in Kilkenny City will be ready for the Christmas season.

The reconstruction of Kilkenny Post Office will not be completed for some months and it will not be possible, therefore, to reopen the office for Christmas postal work this year. Present indications are that it may be possible to open the office to the public early in the New Year.
