asked the Minister for Lands what progress has been made by the Land Commission in connection with the division of the Bennett estate, Thomastown, Offaly, and when the allottees may expect to get possession of their holdings.

Of the original Estate of 718 acres, an area of 134 acres has been allotted to Forestry Division. A scheme in respect of the balance of the Estate is now in course of preparation but it is not yet possible to indicate when allotment will take place.
