asked the Minister for Defence if he is aware of the serious amount of unemployment among members of the ex-I.R.A. in the Crossroads and Killygordon area in County Donegal, and if he will state what steps he proposes to take in the matter.

I have no information as to the extent of unemployment amongst members of the Old I.R.A. in the areas mentioned and in any event I do not appreciate what steps the Deputy would expect my Department to be in a position to take in such a matter.
