asked the Minister for Education if there are plans on hand for the erection of a new national school at Ellybay, and, if not, if he will consider making a grant available for a school, as there is no school between Binghamstown and Aughlem.

It is proposed to erect a new national school at Ellybay, County Mayo. The Reverend Manager has offered a suitable site for the school and my Department hopes to be in a position to sanction a grant early in the financial year 1958-59, towards the cost of its erection.
