asked the Minister for Finance if he will state the amount that has been allocated to County Louth out of the funds recently provided by him for the relief of unemployment in respect of (1) urban employment, and (2) rural improvement schemes.

The totals of the State grants allocated in the current financial year to County Louth, including the supplementary allocation, for the services referred to by the Deputy are:— (1) urban employment schemes (sub-head F), £10,000 and (2) rural improvement schemes (sub-head J), £1,044.
