asked the Minister for Lands if the plantable reserve in County Mayo is sufficient to maintain the present programme in the county for the next two years.

The reserve of land available for planting in County Mayo is more than adequate to permit of continued planting at the present rate.

So Deputy Blowick did his job well.

Has the Minister any information as to why Deputy Doherty is interested in the programme only for the next two years? Does he expect to be thrown out after that?

The Deputy requires no defence from the Minister.

He is fully employed making good capital out of the work I did.

Heaven help him if that is all he has to go on.

Deputy Blowick was over-worked all right.
