asked the Minister for Justice whether he intends closing down the Blacksod Garda Barracks, County Mayo, and, if so, (a) when and (b) how many Gardaí will be left in the area.

It is not intended to close down this station but a proposal to reduce it to a one-man unit is at present under consideration.
