asked the Minister for Local Government if a scheme for a water supply to Newtowncunningham, County Donegal, has been prepared and submitted to or sanctioned by him; and if he will state when such a scheme will be put into operation.

I have not received proposals for a water supply for Newtowncunningham, but I understand that the Donegal County Council is investigating possible sources of supply, with a view to the preparation of a scheme.
