asked the Minister for Finance if he will state the number of persons employed as Public Relations Officers in the Civil Service; the Departments in which they serve; the date on which each such person was appointed; whether he or she was or is appointed permanently; the salary of each such person; whether each such post is pensionable or not; and what journalistic experience (if any) the holder of each such post had prior to his or her appointment.

The reply is in the form of a tabular statement, which with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, will be included in the Official Report.
