asked the Minister for Lands whether he has proposals under consideration in regard to an afforestation scheme for Loughen Lee Mountain, Bailieborough, County Cavan; and if he will indicate the nature of such proposals.

The Forestry Division of my Department has received an offer of 33 acres in the townland of Bracklin, County Cavan, which is located about two miles north-east of Loughen Lee mountain. This land will be inspected shortly. The Forestry Division has not received any other offers of land in this district.
