asked the Minister for Lands when the Beck Estate, otherwise known as Green Acres Limited, Tomhreen, Carnew, County Wicklow, was acquired by the Land Commission; and if he will state the reason for delay in having this estate divided amongst uneconomic and small farmers in the Carnew district.

Possession of this estate was obtained on 2nd December, 1955, and a scheme for the disposal of part of the lands is at present in course of operation.
