asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs whether he is in a position to state when the new television service is likely to begin operations; and whether, in view of the imminence of the introduction of some form of television service, he will introduce legislation to control the use of electrical machinery which is causing interference to television reception.

The answer to the first part of the question is no. On the second part, the question of interference will be considered when legislation for a television service is being prepared.
