asked the Minister for Transport and Power when it is proposed to extend rural electrification to the Highstreet-Moystown area, County Offaly.

I am informed by the Electricity Supply Board that the townlands of Highstreet and Moystown are in the Belmont rural area in which construction work has just commenced. All householders in this area will have an opportunity of taking supply during the next four months while work is in progress in the area.
