asked the Taoiseach if he will state the total quantity and value of tallow imported during the year ended 31st December, 1959.

The total quantity of tallow imported in the period 1st January, 1959 to 30th November, 1959 was 27,701 hundredweights and its value (c.i.f.) was £95,263. Figures for the calendar year 1959 are not yet available.
