asked the Minister for Finance if he intends proposing to the Government of the Six Counties that customs duties and customs huts be abolished by agreement, and so end the smuggling which is so demoralising and damaging to normal trading between both parts of this country and Britain.

The answer is in the negative.

Would the Minister not agree that, with the hope of closer integration in the near future, it would be desirable that we should make a move now?
