asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will state the qualifications, standards of conduct and business experience required by an applicant in order to secure a potato export licence.

Applicants for potato exporters' licences must have registered packing premises, structurally suitable and adequately equipped, and the grading and packing must be carried out under the supervision of a competent person.
