asked the Minister for Lands if the Hamilton Estate containing 135 acres at Cashel, Dromahair, County Leitrim, was offered to the Land Commission; and, if so, why it was not acquired.

This estate was offered to the Land Commission but, following a full investigation of local conditions, they decided not to negotiate for the purchase of the property.
