asked the Minister for Social Welfare the number of widows in receipt of (1) contributory and (2) non-contributory widows' pensions who have (a) one child, (b) two children, (c) three children, (d) four children, (e) five children, (f) six children and (g) more than six children who are qualified children for the purpose of the Social Welfare Acts.

As the reply is in the form of a tabular statement, I propose with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to have it circulated with the Official Report.
