asked the Minister for Agriculture the total intake of milk, in gallons, into creameries in each of the past three years, and the percentage of the total taken each year by the group of creameries operated by the Dairy Disposal Company Limited.

The total intake of milk into creameries was 289,582,000 gallons in 1957, 276,297,000 gallons in 1958, and 247,588,000 gallons in 1959. The approximate total to mid-November this year was 269,494,000 gallons.

The percentage of the total taken each year by Creameries operated by the Dairy Disposal Company Ltd. remained at slightly under one quarter.
